This in-person workshop is designed for beginners, returning artists, and anyone who wants stronger drawing skills to support watercolor, acrylic, or oil painting, this small-group workshop offers a focused, hands-on way to get back to the drawing basics.
Based on the same foundational skills I teach in my 6-week online Basic Drawing class, this two-day workshop offers the advantage of learning in a small group where I can see what you’re drawing and give you instant guidance.
You’ll also receive a supporting eBook filled with the core drawing exercises, so you can continue practicing after the workshop.
You’ll learn how to:
Slow down and draw what you see with confidence
Use line, shape, proportion, and measuring to draw a simple still life drawing
Practice simple warm-up exercises that help you loosen up and get started and learn different methods of drawing
Use light, shadow, and shading to make objects look solid and three-dimensional
Build confidence through clear demonstrations, guided practice, and supportive feedback
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a stronger drawing foundation, more confidence in your skills, and a clearer sense of how to keep moving forward with your art.

Watercolor Paint-Along Workshop
Gather your friends, pick up a brush, and let’s paint!
Watercolor Paint-Along workshops are a wonderful way to explore painting, enjoy the process, and experience the beautiful—and sometimes unpredictable—nature of watercolor.
Each paint-along is built around an approachable project, with clear demonstrations and step-by-step guidance as you create your own finished painting. These paint-alongs are designed with beginners in mind, so no drawing or painting experience is needed. All supplies are included.
You’ll learn how to:
Mix colors and use your brushes as you build your painting
Follow simple, step-by-step guidance that makes watercolor easier than you may expect
