In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the essential skills artists use to see, measure, shade, and draw with confidence.
NEW STUDENTS
Each class builds on the skills learned in the one before it.
Students start with Basic Drawing, then progress to Still Life Drawing, continue into Portrait Drawing 1, and then move into Portrait Studio for advanced techniques and ongoing instruction.
Set up & Draw Your Own Still Life
You’ve learned the foundations, now it’s time to bring them together.
In this class, you’ll learn to use measuring, composition, light, shadow, value, and personal objects to create still life drawings that feel grounded and thoughtful.
Portrait Drawing Made Easy
If you’ve ever wanted to draw the people you love, this class will help you begin with confidence.
You’ll learn simple measuring techniques, facial proportions, and how light and shadow help create a recognizable likeness.
Bring Your Portraits to Life
Open studio to work at your own pace on the portraits you want to create, with personalized guidance, demonstrations, feedback, and the support of a working studio.
